About
Christophe Hillion is professor of European Law at the University of Leiden, guest Professor of European Integration Law at the University of Stockholm and Senior Researcher in EU law at the Swedish Institute for European Studies (SIEPS), Stockholm. He is also chair of the Wider Europe Network, devoted to the study of EU policies towards third European States; European Law Adviser at DemosEuropa in Warsaw, and co-founder (and member of the governing board) of the Centre for the Law of EU external Relations (CLEER) in The Hague.
He has published on EU external relations, enlargement and constitutional law. He is a member of the editorial boards of the European Foreign Affairs Review, the Common Market Law Review and the Ukrainian Journal of European Legal Studies. He has advised several European governments on EU legal issues, and on EU policies towards Eastern Europe.
