About

I am an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Political Science at Leiden University, in the Netherlands. I obtained my Ph.D. in the joint program in International Relations at Sciences Po (Paris) and Northwestern University (Chicago) in 2010.

My research interests include reflexive sociology of international migration and transnationalism, diaspora politics and critical approaches to security. My past research has been conducted in the former Yugoslav area, in particular in Croatia.

I also teach at Sciences Po Paris (Institut d'Etudes Politiques). I am a founding member of the CASE Collective (www.casecollective.org), member of the editorial and communication team of the ISA Journal International Political Sociology (http://www.wiley.com/bw/journal.asp?ref=1749-5679) and on the editorial board of the French journal Cultures & Conflits (www.conflits.org).
