About
As a PhD Student I am working on the literary output of Byzantine intellectuals in fifteenth- and sixteenth-century Italy with specific attention to national and ethnic framing, claims to national freedom, the nationalisation of the Hellenic heritage, and the analytical problem of an incipient "Greek" "nationalism" in their texts.
My project is funded through a special grant of the Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research (NWO).
